About Andrea Brauneis
My heart has been beating for needlework since I was a child. Growing up in a creative family, I discovered my passion for knitting and designing my own models at an early age - a hobby that has stayed with me and inspired me to this day. The desire to pursue this passion professionally led me to a private design training programme, where I was able to hone my skills. I am particularly inspired by the aesthetics and knitting traditions of Scandinavia. The clean lines, natural colours and unique techniques of this region are reflected in my designs and give them a very special touch. This results in pieces that combine craftsmanship, creativity and my love of Scandinavian design. My style and my deep connection to the Nordic countries are particularly reflected in my new book ‘FEINGEFÜHL’, in which timeless elegance meets Scandinavian inspiration.
