About Eva Howitz
Eva has a degree in fashion design and is a former graduate of Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design
Halle. She is co-founder and artistic director of the international fashion label ‘howitzweissbach’. At the same time, she has been teaching fashion design and fashion theory with a focus on sustainable design for more than 15 years. Since 2020 she has been working in the initiative ‘lokaltextil’ as managing director and project developer. There, Eva is responsible for the conception and implementation of various activist-motivated mediation projects to promote textile awareness and the visualisation of local value chains. Eva Howitz has been supporting the textil trainer since August 2024 and is responsible for PR management, networking and training coordination in the project.
