About Susanne Diener
Susanne Diener is the ‘Representative DACH’ of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), the world's leading standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibres. GOTS defines strict environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain and at the same time ensures compliance with social criteria and human rights, from the field to the shop.
After graduating as an engineer in clothing technology, Mrs Diener lived in South East Asia for seven years, where she worked in production management for various international clothing companies. She has been carrying out social and quality audits at clothing manufacturers in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and China since the late 1990s. Through various professional positions in purchasing, product development and quality management, she has become an expert in textile supply chains.
